FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cutting tool comprises body, cutting plate or cutting plates fitted and secured by fastening screws in body seat or seats. Note here that elastic adjusting element is fitted in every seat and unclamped by said adjusting screw. Note also that every seat is confined by bottom wall to interact with cutting plate bottom bearing surface and two lateral walls, one interacting with cutting plate lateral bearing surface and another one interacting with adjusting element. To increase cutting plate adjustment range, proposed tool is furnished with a screw to drive V-shaped one-tip two-branch elastic adjusting element to interact with cutting plate lateral bearing surface and seat lateral wall. Note also that said driving screw is arranged between adjusting screw and its tip.
EFFECT: increased cutting plate adjustment range.
