FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: balance mechanism of six-cylinder internal combustion engine includes: two balance shafts (4, 5) and two multipliers (2, 3). The latter transmit rotation from crankshaft (1) to balance shafts (4, 5) with triple increase of the number of revolutions. Shafts (4, 5) rotate in one direction. Imbalance action phases comprise 180°. Imbalance values are equal to masses forming centrifugal forces the product of which through the distance between axes of balance shafts (4, 5) is equal to the third harmonic of pulsations of torque moment.
EFFECT: compensation of the third harmonic of overturning moment, which acts on internal combustion engine supports.
