FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration damping is performed with elastic elements facilitating coaxial shift. The elastic elements are subjected to preliminary load, value of which is multiple to ratio of equipment weight to amount of used flexible elements. Deformation of flexible elements is registered and equipment is installed. During vibrations damping the flexible elements are subjected to deformations of compression and coaxial and radial shift regardless from a direction of sign-changing loads.
EFFECT: lowered amplitude of vibrations and increased service life of equipment.
