FIELD: seismic isolation devices.
SUBSTANCE: shock-absorbing device for seismic isolation of objects by means of a group installation comprises an elastomeric box-shaped shock absorber, as well as a rigid plate and a displacement limiter in the form of a frame. The design of shock-absorbing devices is proposed according to the principle of friction-movable bearings with flat sliding surfaces, namely, in an inclined position relative to the base plane and perpendicular to the supporting surface of the object, made on the contact areas obliquely to the horizontal plane in the form of an obtuse dihedral angle or n-gonal (n≥3) pyramids, including truncated ones, to create a variable force applied horizontally to the object to ensure re-centring. Also, designs are proposed with the installation of shock absorbers according to the principle of a friction-movable single-pendulum sliding bearing with spherical sliding surfaces, as well as with installation both in a vertical and horizontal position between the side walls of the object and structure. To adapt the power characteristics in relation to design options, coaxial schemes are proposed such parallel, serial schemes; and combined scheme for group installation of shock absorbers.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of seismic protection.
