FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves recording images of the object using two optical-location units, program processing digital images of the adjustment template during adjustment, obtained from photomatrices to determine coordinates of images of the vertices of the adjustment matrix, calculating matrices A1 and A2 which describe the position of optical axes of the optical-location units by solving a system of six nonlinear algebraic equations, program processing digital images of the object during measurement, calculating coordinates of the identical point of the object in a bound coordinate system based on matrices A1 and A2. The device has two spaced out optical-location units and a digital computer. The digital computer has a module for program processing images of the adjustment matrix, a module for calculating matrices A1 and A2, a module for program processing images of the object and a module for calculating coordinates of the object.
EFFECT: high-precision adjustment.
