SUBSTANCE: service request is received, wherein the service request includes a universal resource locator address and a field for indicating the type of service content from the service request; it is determined whether the universal resource locator address matches a service flow; and the service request is resolved in order to identify the type of service from the service request according to the service content type field included in the service request, if it is determined that the universal resource locator address does not match the service flow.
EFFECT: ensuring fail-safe operation of the wireless application protocol gateway and increasing the probability of correct identification of the type of service.
