FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and is intended for early diagnostics of demineralisation foci. Oral cavity is stimulated by 50% sucrose solution for 30 seconds. In 5 minutes after sucrose flushing, alginate impression of jaws is taken. Then plaster is mixed with methyl red indicator at the ratio of 1:80 to obtain yellow colour. Then a plaster mould is cast. Plaster with indicator is applied in the first layer, and plaster mixed by standard method is applied in the second layer. The mould is opened after solidification. Areas of mould coloured red are identified. With pH under 6.2, local pH reduction and caries risk are diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows for simultaneous registration of local pH reduction under critical level over all teeth areas and in all accessible surfaces.
