FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment intended for adsorption processes in the gas (steam)-adsorbent system. Proposed adsorber comprises cylindrical housing with tapered cylinder top section accommodating bin made up of cone with its apex upturned downward and perforated sidewall, screen plates with weighed layers of adsorbent and overflow devices. Bin arranged in said tapered cylinder chamber spaced from its sidewalls additionally incorporates funnel made up of large- and small-diameter cylindrical surfaces with perforated taper surface arranged there between. Said funnel is secured by at least three limiting elements to couple bin and funnel taper surface and at least three limiting elements coupling bin taper surface and funnel small-diameter surface. Ball-shaped adsorbent is provided with stopped radial recesses. Note here that said recesses may have cylindrical, taper, spherical shape, or any surface of a body of revolution, e.g. paraboloid, ellipsoid.
EFFECT: higher quality of gas cleaning of target component and dust.
