FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises case, holder with deforming elements and power element. It comprises also two truncated-cone-shaped roller-type deforming elements arranged radially on both sides of thread profile with having base diameters varying with billet linear speeds on thread profile inner and outer diameters, while working length equals at least thread profile height. Note here that holders are mounted on ball supports of bell crank to allows rotation of deforming elements arranged therein and mounting said deforming elements at the angle of thread profile work sides. Power element is fitted on axle face at bell crank center and made up of torsion bar to be twisted by self-braking worm pair relative to axis perpendicular to billet lengthwise axis and to create deforming contact force developed by rolling rolls on both sides of thread profile. Note also that said torsion bar and worm pair run in case bearings.
