FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of hydrocarbons in open sea using geostationary anchored ship. Proposed alternation of tan ship 1 in oil extraction ship is performed by cutting vertical opening in hull 1 and arranging cassette-type plate-like structure 7 in said opening. Cassette 7 consists of plate elements 12, 13 made to fit cut elements in the hull and be jointed thereto. Said cassette 7 ensures, partially, hull stiffness. Said cassette has vertical shaft 8 to accommodate turret 14 nearby or in ship bottom area. Turret 14 is mounted in wet area inside said shaft.
EFFECT: alternation with no loss in stiffness.
