SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of offshore drilling at bottom of Arctic marine regions. To implement the method, drilling of the upper part of the well borehole during the winter season to the depth above the oil and gas bearing bed is performed, when the water at the drilling point is at least partially covered with ice. Drilling interruption is scheduled at said depth to reduce the risk of hydrocarbon spills into the environment. Planning of drilling resumption at the specified depth and beginning of drilling of the lower part of the well included in the oil and gas bearing formation during the next winter season when water contains less ice than during the winter season is performed. Drilling of upper part of well borehole from drill ship during winter season to depth above oil-and-gas bearing formation at the time when water in drilling point is at least partially covered with ice. Drilling is interrupted at said depth to reduce risk of hydrocarbon spill into environment. Above drilling is resumed and the lower part of the well is drilled from the depth of the upper part of the shaft and enters the oil and gas bearing formation during the next winter season when water contains less ice than during the winter season.
EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency and safety of offshore drilling at the bottom of Arctic marine regions and rationalization of drilling process during different seasons of the year.
