FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed crane comprises with its top supporting boom, outrigger and boom head or girder articulated with tower, boom braces and crossarms, cargo carriage with hook suspension fitted on said boom, mounting set for tower extension fitted thereon, frame arranged around tower one above the other to connect tower with building wall supports. Said frames are interconnected and connected with mounting set and arranged on tower to displace along the tower, driven by said set. Said frames are interconnected and connected with mounting set by tie rods arranged along perimetre of aforesaid frames and mounting set, parallel with the tower. Said tie rods are articulated with frames, while clearance are provided between frames and mounting set, over their height. Method of tower extension consists in locking tower at preset design height by jointing tower with building wall by tower frames.
EFFECT: higher safety, ease of mounting/dismantling.
