FIELD: machine building industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides for a device initiating fluid medium transfer to semi-solid state in the presence of magnetic field, containing: particles insensitive to the field and a number of particles sensitive to energy field forming chains responding to the energy field. These particles are selected from a group including particles having, at least, one sensitive to the field element with the first density attached to, at least, one element with the second density, which is below the first density, special shape particles having, at least, one sensitive to the field element is provided with one or several hollow inclusions or their combinations. The invention also provides for a method ensuring fluid medium transfer to semi-solid state in a tank in the presence of magnetic field.
EFFECT: particles improve sensitive to field fluid medium by reducing density without exclusion of field sensitivity properties ensuring usefulness; by invention, creeping of material is reduced resulting from improved dynamic or static compaction.
