FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite magnetic materials, particularly, to magnetorheological elastomers, reversibly changing their physical characteristics under the action of magnetic and electric field, and it can be used in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrument making. Technical result is achieved in the composite magnetic elastomer, which consists of a polymer matrix and a filler of magnetic particles, wherein each particle of the magnetic filler is coated with at least one dielectric shell, and/or, at least one charge-polarizing shell. Material of the dielectric shell is preferably selected of a variety of oxides, phosphates, sulphates, sulphides of the filler material. Polymers, among others including polar groups, can be used as a material for making the polarizable shell, as a result, in general the shell will have polarizable properties.
EFFECT: increase of interacting force between the particles under the action of magnetic and electric field, and, as a consequence, increase of the modulus sensitivity of elastomer elasticity depending on the effect of magnetic and electric fields.
