FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: prior to high-temperature heating the isothermal annealing is performed at temperature of 1000°C with exposure during 0.5-1.0 hour, and high-temperature and cooling is performed cyclically; at that, in each cycle the heating is performed to the temperature which is lower by 40-50°C than solidus temperature; cooling is performed, except for the last cycle, to the temperature of 1000°C, and in the last cycle the cooling is performed to the temperature of 200°C; then in the air - to the room temperature.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing the degree of decarbonisation, degassing, cleaning from sulphur, colour impurities, non-metallic inclusions and reducing chrome evaporation at reducing the processing duration.
