FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: chain includes links (2, 4) connected by means of parallel chain pins. Each link has at least one flat connecting link. Chain pins form rotation axes (6) for flat connecting links. Axis (13) of the chain link crosses two rotation axes perpendicularly. The above flat connecting links have curved surface (15) spreading at least to one end side (16) of flat connecting link and intended to support flat connecting link on cylindrical support surfaces (8) of gear wheel (9). Curved surface ends in convex curved surface with inclination angle increasing near the end side with the link axis passing through it so that as a result, the inclination angle is increased at least to the half angle of initial cone (γ) or at least to seven degrees.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the chain wear.
