FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that assumed radiator leak is degreased by acetone or gasoline, blown by compressed air and, if required, modified. Then, rubber strip lubed with oil is applied thereto to allow easy detachment without damaging the coat after hardening of the compound. Radiator is arranged horizontally on wood support to tightly press rubber strip to radiator. On opposite side, higher heat conductivity rods (copper, aluminium) are fitted into assumed damaged point and connected with additional heat exchange surface extending beyond radiator surface for it to be filled with forming glue compound with fillers that feature higher heat conductivity.
EFFECT: higher heat release of repaired section to ensure engine optimum operating conditions.
