FIELD: repair of cases of gear pumps used in various branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: preparation of worn-out surfaces is accomplished: boring, degreasing, application of polymeric composite material and drying. Boring, degreasing, application of polymeric coating are carried out on worn-out surfaces of the case shafts, as well as on the surfaces of the inlet and outlet connections. The coating is applied by pressing-in simultaneously with vacuum treatment. The device for realization of the method uses shaping inserts of the shafts, packing flanges, packing covers, inserts for the inlet and outlet connections. The packing flanges have ducts for removal of air. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
