FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: graduation method of ultrasonic Doppler flowmeters involves measurement of movement veloctiy of the portion of the investigated liquid relative to receiving-emitting surface of removable flowmeter and correction of the measured value as per the reading of reference velocity metre. At that, liquid movement is performed along closed trajectory in sealed acoustically transparent container. Readings of reference velocity metre are obtained by recording the container movement velocity. The bench includes the base carrying the reservoir with the investigated liquid portion, liquid movement device containing electric motor and housing with drive shaft, and reference metre of liquid movement velocity. The reservoir is made in the form of sealed acoustically transparent container consisting of disc with peripheral annular groove for arrangement of liquid having stiff transverse partition and round cover mounted above it, the centres of which are connected by means of detachable connection to upper end of drive shaft, which leaves the housing and the hole for which is two-step. At that, upper section of housing with hole of smaller diameter is equipped with support plate carrying on one side the scanning mechanism providing interaction of receiving-emitting surface of sensor with liquid through the bottom of annular groove, and on the other side there installed is reference velocity metre made in the form of tachometer.
EFFECT: improving graduation accuracy of ultrasonic Doppler flowmeters, simpler and cheaper design, and effective performance of metrological operations.
