SUBSTANCE: apparatus for encoding a communication signal has an encoder for encoding the communication signal with increase in the length of the communication signal; a re-encoder for re-encoding part of the encoded communication signal using a certain part of increased length of the communication signal; and an interleaver for interleaving the re-encoded communication signal. The re-encoder is configured to add repeated bits to the encoded communication signal. Addition of repeated bits must be ignored by the first external device.
EFFECT: method for encoding data with improved error correction, small side of the device and low power consumption, with compatibility of such coding with existing self-correcting code formats.
