SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method and apparatus for sending a Scheduling Request (SR) meant for sending uplink signals from User Equipment (UE) to a base station in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. Said method comprises the following operations: when duration of the radio-frame is less than the SR period, the sending frame and the subframe of the SR signal are determined after the initial subframe of the first radio frame from successive radio frames, total duration of which is equal to the SR period, shifts by SR deviation of the subframe; when duration of the radio frame is equal to or greater than the SR period, each radio frame is defined as the sending frame of the SR signal; furthermore, if duration of the radio frame is equal to the SR period, the initial SR subframe of the first sending radio frame shifts by SR derivation of the subframe and is directed to the subframe of the sending frame; if duration of the radio frame is greater than the SR period, the initial SR subframe of the first radio frame of the radio half-frame shifts by SR deviation of the subframe and is directed to the subframe of the sending frame. On the subframe of the established sending frame, the SR signal is transmitted from the user equipment to the base station.
EFFECT: reliable reception of the SR signal by the base station.
