SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly plastics and reconstructive surgery. A projection of an anterior tibial bundle is located with an elevated position of the extremity. The extremity blood flow is completely blocked mechanically. The anterior tibial vascular bundle is clamped in an upper one-third of shin in a projection of an anterior ground of shin muscles and in a proximal direction of an upper boundary of extensor retinaculum of shin. Then the blood flow in the extremity is restored with keeping the anterior tibial bundle clamped, and haemodymatic characteristics are determined. If a reverse blood flow pattern in an artery of dorsum of foot is observed, the compensated blood flow of the lower extremity is diagnosed with a fragment of the anterior tibial artery excluded from the magistral blood flow, if the blood flow in the foot arteries has not been restored or it is at least unsatisfactory, then it is impossible to exclude a fragment of the anterior tibial bundle from the magistral blood flow.

EFFECT: method allows providing higher diagnostic accuracy of the compensated blood flow of the lower extremity with a fragment of the anterior tibial bundle excluded from the magistral blood flow.
