FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns veterinary science. A wound edge approximation device represents a damper mechanism which comprises a partition furnished clamp cup, and additionally has a similar damper mechanism parallel to the first. In each damper mechanism, the clamp cup, dip rod and bushing with an end wall are telescopically coupled. An open centre retainer cylinder provided inside the clamp cup, movable along its side walls and comprising a first rigid axial tube, telescopically connected with the second axial tube provided inside a balance spring and rigidly fixed in a face opening formed in the end wall of the bushing. An arm is mounted on an external border of the end wall. The arm comprises a removable strain roller. A wall of the first axial tube has spring locking flanges with edges turned to the retainer cylinder and sliding along an external surface of the second axial tube, and making the edges to match with the coupled notches formed in a wall of the second axial tube. The clamp cup wall comprises a longitudinal groove with movable locking screw fixing the retainer cylinder in relation to the clamp cup. A cylindrical space enclosing the bushing along the whole length against the arm is provided in the dip rod from the side of the bushing and connected with an axial channel. The extended balance spring being in a solid connection with the balance spring inside the bushing is mounted in the cylindrical space. The rod length is at least total length of the clamp cup, the dip rod and the bushing, and besides a portion of the rod gong beyond the end wall of the bushing with a nut provided on this portion. The rod is movable fixed through the partition, through the clamp cup, through the first and second axial tubes. The rod end is provided from outside the partition. A portion of the rod provided in the first, second axial tubes and going beyond the end wall is threaded. A cap is provided on the dip rod from the opposite side of the clamp cup. The cap has a projection. A detachable clamp is mounted on the projection. A grip is mounted on an external lateral side of the partition perpendicularly to the clamp cup. The grip has a hook with a removable deformation roller. The strain roller, the deformation roller and a bar comprising a variable resistor are used as a recording unit which transfers an output electric signal to an external electric signal transducer. The caps of both damper mechanisms are coupled by means of a fastening screw; in between the caps there is a biological tissue fixation device which is designed at least partially in the form of a semi-circle surgical needle. A similar fastening screw is used to coupled the grips of both damper mechanisms, and there is the biological tissue fixation device mounted in between.
EFFECT: higher damper effect on biological tissue along the full thickness of wound edges and reduced risk of complications associated with wound repair.
