FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotor-type mass exchange apparatuses to be used in oil processing and petrochemical industry for chemical interaction of fluid and gas, mass exchange, absorption and gas cleaning. Proposed apparatuses comprises housing with branch pipes to feed and discharge gas and liquid phases, parallel vertical shafts with perforated contact elements to run in rolling bearings. Said shafts are arranged to allow disks of one shaft to enter interdisk spaces of another shaft. Said shafts are fixed inside said casing in cantilever. Cross section of said casing represents a figure of eight. Shafts above fluid feed branch pipe are additionally equipped with perforated disks closing apparatus cross section.
EFFECT: higher intensity of mass transfer, ruling out of drop loss, expanded operating performances.
