FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to finishing-hardening of bores by surface plastic deformation. Sizing mandrel with deforming elements axially reciprocates and effects planetary return rotation relative to planetary axis offset with respect to is primary lengthwise axis aligned with billet axis. Mandrel body is equipped with working cylinders accommodating oscillating pistons with rods. Rod outer end faces accommodate deforming elements secured thereto having spherical working surface that perform oscillating and motions to act of machined surface. Inner chamber of all cylinders filled with pressurised oil are communicated via bypass bores with central chamber communicated with external hydraulic station.
EFFECT: higher machining efficiency and tool strength.
