FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in diamond abrasive finishing, for example, for honing holes. For this tool with diamond abrasive bars moving radially is used. Said tool revolves, axially translates and, besides, effects sun-and-planet motion relative to extra axis shifted relative to main lengthwise axis. Tool has at least two distance rods per one bar holder. Said rods are arranged in body radial blind holes made at angle β to the plane perpendicular to lengthwise axis to reciprocate along axes of said holes. One spherical end face of said rods thrusts against bar holder hole spherical bottom. Opposite end face is acted on by compression coil spring that develops smoothly varying force in tool rotation at processing start and constant force at final stage. Each bar performs sun-and-planet motion in lengthwise direction with frequency equal to that of said motion and amplitude defined by eccentricity and angle β.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer life and ease of use.
