FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and aims at perfecting electrically driven car. Electrically driven car comprises body 102 resting on first mounted axle 103.1 and second mounted axle 103.2 spaced apart from the first one along body lengthwise axis, and motor drive 104 to drive said first and second mounted axles. Said drive 104 comprises at least first transformer unit 105.1 and first current rectifier unit 106.1 connected therewith and arranged in body 102. Said first transformer unit 105.1 and second current rectifier unit 106.1 are connected, both functionally and in space, with first mounted axle 103.1. Drive 104 comprises also second transformer unit 105.2 and second current rectifier unit 106.2 connected therewith and connected, both functionally and in space, with first mounted axle 103.2.

EFFECT: simplified design and optimum equalised weight distribution.
