FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 1-fluoro-3-alkylborocyclopentanes of general formula (1), where R=H-C4H9, n-C6H13, n-C8H17. The method involves reaction of α-olefin (hex-1-ene, oct-1-ene, dec-1-ene) with triethyl aluminium in the presence of a Cp2ZrCl2 catalyst in an inert atmosphere at temperature of approximately 20°C for 6 hours and then cooling the reaction mass to 0°C, adding BF3·Et2O and stirring at t ~20°C for 50-70 minutes.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain 1-fluoro-3-alkylborocyclopentanes of the formula given above.
