FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: transfer device 16 serves to displace, for example, bottle 8 between support platform 28 and base 12 of device 6 for retaining and displacing the object of printing machine 2. Transfer device comprises foundation 30, gripper post 32 to retain said bottle and drive 32 arranged on said foundation. Said drive allows displacing said gripper post so that bottle opening 19 moves, first, along initial section of the path that includes component in direction perpendicular to aforesaid support platform and, then, along the curve that crosses point (119) of path 118 of bottle base 17 after it passes by said point.
EFFECT: simplified servicing.
