FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing high-density ceramics from ortho-phosphates and ortho-arsenates of titanium, zirconium, hafnium, germanium and tin. The method of obtaining titanium-, zirconium-, hafnium-, germanium- and tin-containing ceramics involves mixing initial titanium-, zirconium-, hafnium-, germanium- and tin-containing powder with kosnarite- or scandium tungstate-type structure with an additive ZnO 0.5-2.0 wt %. The obtained mixture is then pressed at the minimum permissible pressure of 200-300 MPa and then annealed at 850-1050°C for 15-20 hours.

EFFECT: obtaining high-density ceramics while reducing the amount of sintering additive and sintering temperature.
