FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: mono-oriented film has degree of shrinkage at 100°C of at least 15%. At least one layer of the film contains a copolymer of propylene with ethylene and optionally other olefins of formula CH2-CHR, where R is an alkyl group containing 2-10 carbon atoms, characterised by the level of content of ethylene of at least 5.5 wt %, melt flow rate less than 10 g/10 min and level of content of the fraction of a polymer which is soluble in xylene at 25°C from 14 to 30 wt % in terms of total weight of said copolymer. Shrinking labels are obtained from the mono-oriented films.

EFFECT: obtaining mono-oriented films having high shrinking characteristics, good mechanical properties, as well as possibility of recycling said films.
