FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: electropulse rock-breaking device comprises high-voltage and grounded electrode systems, electrodes of which are arranged as rod electrodes, which alternate and are evenly arranged along the circumference. The high-voltage electrode system is equipped with a central high-voltage electrode, which passes via an insulation unit. The insulation unit is made as star-like insulation plates of grounded and high-voltage electrode systems arranged one above the other, where the upper ends of grounded and high-voltage electrodes are fixed, excluding the central high-voltage electrode.
EFFECT: reduced cost of device, reliable insulation of rod electrodes for reduction of voltage drops due to leakage of currents, lower costs for maintenance during operation.
