FIELD: soil or rock drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to well drilling by electropulse method. Electropulse drill bit is designed for driving of horizontal wells of large diameter in strong rocks and can be used to increase efficiency of drilling in mining and construction areas. To tubular housing (5) rod earthed electrodes (3) are attached, alternating with rod high-voltage electrodes (4), one ends of which are bent towards the end of the drill bit; other ends are attached to central high-voltage electrode (7) made with axial flushing channel (6). Grounded and high-voltage electrode systems are separated by insulator (1) made with longitudinal flushing openings (2). Two adjacent grounded electrodes (3) and bent end of high-voltage electrode (4) located between them are equipped with external current-conducting pads (8). Thickness of each pad is not less than 1/3 of inter-electrode gap value, and width does not exceed width of electrode, to which pad is attached.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of drilling, fewer clamps and bells of drill bit in horizontal well with considerably smaller amount of flushing liquid supplied to the well.
