FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: investigated area is radiated with pulses of an ultrabroadband radar, and an echo signal is measured from an object arranged at the specified distance from the radar, at the same time in order to detect motion, a 2D function is used based on dependence of a difference module of time-adjoining measurements of echo-signal level on a distance to the object and time of observation with its subsequent reflection on a display.
EFFECT: higher probability of detecting a movable object on the background of noise, increased accuracy of distance measurement to the movable object.
