FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce complex samples working with high load impact of a thin-blade instrument, complex die-casting of aluminum alloys as well as to produce bending, inducing, parting tools, complex in geometry calibers. The method includes production of instrument blank of maraging steel ЭП-836, blank tempering, its mechanic treatment and further ageing. In the first variant the blank is made by meltdown of off-measurement waste and failed parts using electrical chill casting, then temper them at the temperature 1150±10°С and cool in water. Then the blanks are secondary tempered at 1100±10°С with water cooling and subject them to plastic deformation with deformation level at least 35%. In the second variant the blank is made of the off-measurement waste, heat it by 950±5°С and subject it to open forging with deformation level of at least 35%. After the end of mechanic treatment the instrument is subject to ageing for 3 hours and nitride hardening for 1.5 hours.
EFFECT: increase of tool reliability.
