FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for blend production and device for its realization refers to high furnaces and furnaces with shaft pre-chamber. The shell of perforated layer in its base (in the bearing area) is additionally heated from outside by separate spots located around the layer. The heating of each spot is independent. Temperature on the large perimeter is maintained in given temperature range. Heaters are located both on the same level on perimeter and in parallel sections on the height if the shaft. In order to control the heating all heating spots are outfitted with temperature sensors. Heating elements of shell spots in the bearing area are structurally connected to the cooling elements and are subject to cooling. The neighboring sections with temperature level that is below given operating level are simultaneously subject to heating. Heating and cooling provide for operating temperature of section and even movement of perforated layer of blend material.
EFFECT: even heating and melting of perforated layer shell, prevention of burnout of separate sections of bearing shell.
