FIELD: iron and steel industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of metallurgy, namely to steels used for production of large welded pressure vessels, for example, steam generator vessels, accumulation tanks, volume equalizers, steam lines. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, chrome, copper, cobalt, sulfur, phosphor, nitrogen, aluminum, calcium, tin, arsenic, titanium, hydrogen, antimony and iron with the following proportion of components, % w/w: carbon 0.08-0.12, silicon 0.10-0.25, manganese 0.70-1.10, nickel 1.8-2.3, molybdenum 0.30-0.70, vanadium 0.03-0.07, chrome 0.01-0.25, copper 0.01-0.25, sulfur 0.001-0.008, phosphor 0.001-0.010, tin - 0.001-0.008, arsenic 0.001-0.008, antimony 0.001-0.008, aluminum 0.01-0.05, calcium 0.0005-0.008, titanium 0.01-0.05, hydrogen 0.0001-0.0002, nitrogen - 0.003-0.012, iron - the rest. Total content of phosphor, antimony, tin and arsenic is determined by the following ratio (10*P+5*Sb+4*Sn+As)*100≤12.
EFFECT: resistance of steel to brittle static and cyclic destruction and is resistant to flaking formation, hydrogen embrittlement and impurity embrittlement.
