FIELD: thermal treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for thermal treatment of materials, particularly organic materials, such as wood. The method uses combustion gases supplied by at least one burner connected to the furnace, furthermore, the first phase of the combustion gases condensation between leaving the furnace and entering the burner is assured. This condensation removes a portion of dust contained in the combustion gases, and the first stage of this condensation is carried out using absorbing coolants, then the combustion gas overheating phase is carried out, which provides the temperature necessary for thermal treatment. The thermal treatment unit comprises at least one burner heated by combustion gases; furthermore, it includes at least one first condenser which is positioned in a way so it will cool the combustion gases coming out of the furnace, this condensation will remove a portion of dust, contained within these gases, using water. The dust is extracted via a decanting agent. The condenser also contains at least one overheater connected with the heater, the overheater heats up the combustion gases after they come out of the first condenser, and it contains at least one absorbing coolant which uses the furnace as the heat source and includes at least one cooling loop (T11) connected with the first condenser. The invention facilitates the removal of particles carried by combustion gases and controls the oxygen concentration in the gas.
