FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises an electrode couple consisting of two electrodes where the gap between them is filled with non-porous dielectric material and the whole exterior surface of the structure is covered with a moisture-sensitive layer, and the electrodes are made of metals with different spontaneous potentials. A method of converting gas moisture is suggested, and can be carried out using the abovementioned device.
EFFECT: increased functionality; increased sensitivity; reduced size and weight; the invention allows to create energy-efficient power sources.
