FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely - parasitology, and may be used for the diagnosis of opisthorchiasis in patients with liver cirrhosis. The essence of the method is in determination of serum indices of coagulation hemostasis such as antithrombin-III and von Willebrand factor in the same sample of blood. In identifying the antithrombin-III - 50-75%, and von Willebrand factor - 140-160% diagnosed concomitant chronic opisthorchiasis of patients with liver cirrhosis. In identifying the antithrombin-III 75% and 160% more Willebrand diagnosed cirrhosis of the liver without concomitant opisthorchiasis.
EFFECT: using the method allows with high accuracy to diagnose complex a combined liver damage, namely, cirrhosis and chronic opisthorchiasis.
