METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF HEPATIC DAMAGE ETIOLOGY IN PATIENTS WITH CIRRHOSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2442981 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves defining induced and spontaneous platelets aggregation in the blood serum sample. The inductor used is adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in concentration 1.25 μg/ml. In patients with the hepatic cirrhosis of viral origin during induced aggregation the size of aggregates is 0.85-1.1 CU; size during spontaneous aggregation is 0.20-0.57 CU. In patients with the hepatic cirrhosis of alcohol origin during induced aggregation the size of aggregates is 0.69-0.84 CU; size during spontaneous aggregation is 0.58-0.7 CU. In patients with the hepatic cirrhosis of mixed origin (viral-alcohol) during induced aggregation the size of aggregates is more than 1.1 CU; size during spontaneous aggregation is more than 0.7 CU.

EFFECT: increased precision and information content of hepatic damage etiology in patients with cirrhosis that allows doctor detect and take into account two pathologic factors present in the patients.
