FIELD: geoacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for tectonic dislocation in near-surface-sections locating and tracing; the method is used to measure the acoustic emission of the profiles located across the main tectonic structures; anomalous values of each profile are to be determined; the determined anomalous values are indentified with the zones of rock dissociation; the monitoring of two specified anomalies of two profiles is performed by two acoustic stations; the first station is positioned on the first profile on the maximum energy accumulation spot, the other one - at the anomalous spot of the neighboring profile; the signals of the acoustic emission are to be registered simultaneously on either profile within 20-30 minutes; the above procedure is to be executed turn-based at all the anomalous spots of the second profile; the anomalies of acoustic emission of the first (а1) and the second (а2) profiles are to be registered; each anomaly of the first profile is to be associated with one of the anomalous spots of the second profile; the correspondence of anomalies is considered to be the relation of the а1 and а2 energy which maximally approximates to one; the identified pair of such spots allows to establish the tectonic dislocations from one profile to the other and other profiles further on with the above method at hand.
EFFECT: enhancement of the efficiency of cracks correlation.
