FIELD: power supply.

SUBSTANCE: power feeder substation (PFS) comprises the low voltage side (LVS), the high voltage side (HVS) and the transformer (TF) configured to pass single-phased high voltage alternating current to the high voltage side. Power can be transmitted via cables to one or several power receiving substations (PRS). The cable is configured to distribute a symmetrical single-phased current fed by the power feeder substation. The current sensor unit (CSU) is positioned on the high voltage side. The current breaking unit (CBS) is capable of breaking the current and is positioned on the low voltage side. The control function (CF) is configured to activate the current breaking unit based on safety regulations and current data (CD). Current data and other system information (SI) can also be transferred to the information unit (IU).

EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of power transmission.
