FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in adding of grinded spiny eleuterococus root to the feed in the ratio of 0.2 g per 1 kg of live weight and cellobacterine to the ratio of 0.02 g per 1 kg of live weight during the period of cattle's transition from milk to complex nutrition. For the calves the start of feeding of supplement corresponds to transition from skim milk or milk substitute feeding and the duration is 20 days. The piglets are fed with supplement starting with 8 day before planned weaning and finishing with 8 days after it.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing animal weight gain during long period after method application.
