FIELD: gun-missile machinery.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of gun-missile machinery, and in particular to ways of production of dry propellant blasts, and can be used in the course of receipt and processing technique development for ballistite propellants, experiment and mass produced blasts for missile and artillery systems. The method consists in preparation of nitrate ester, mixing of the propellant components in the neutral atmosphere and subsequent familiar stages of processing of the ballistite propellant mass. The Schlegel apparatus is used as a nitrate unit, the small-capacity mixer of no more than 20 l - as a component mixer, and rolling of the propellant thus getting a tablet is performed on the continuous grooved rolls with subsequent drying of the tablet, homogeneization of the propellant and pressing of the blasts in the screw extrusion machine. In order to increase the capacity, two or more Schlegel apparatus can be used.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of BDPA blasts preparation - reduction of the variations of burning rate and the temperature gradient of the burning rate.
