FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: The invention relates to a method of three-phase low-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, where the starting materials - H2 and CO - are converted into hydrocarbons and, possibly, to their oxygenates by adding to the H2 and CO reaction zone the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst based on iron. Furthermore, the molar ratio H2 : CO in the starting materials is 0,5 and below 1,0. Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst based on iron is activated according to the following stages where: (a) the iron-based catalyst is used (iron with positive oxidation state), and (b) a catalyst based on iron with reducing gas chosen from CO and a combination of H2 and CO, with the molar ratio of H2 and CO from 100 : 1 to 1 : 100, reduction temperature of at least 245°C and below 280°C, reduction gas pressure above 0,5 MPa, but below 2,2 MPa and gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of the gas fed into the reactor of at least 6000 ml(H)/catalyst g/hour, which results in the reduction of iron in positive oxidation state.
EFFECT: production of catalyst with high lifespan and high activity.
