FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to construction, in particular, to methods for production of floor boards. The first cut is made in the front with a saw along the borderline between two parts of the long raw piece which will form the floor boards, and then the second cut is made with a saw in the rear. The first and the second cut connect along the borderline between the neighbouring parts of the long raw piece, and the parts separate. Because of the two cuts on both sides and the cutting edge of the saw which is sharp-edged or inclined, the cut width in the section where the cuts connect is less than the saw blade width.
EFFECT: reduced material loss during cutting of the floor boards.
