FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming pack of tiles on carrier base 10 by successively arranging layers containing finishing tiles of stone or other equivalent material in alternation with additional layers containing tiles or sheets; forming liquid-impermeable container around pack of tiles so that peripheral space is defined around pack layer edges; vacuumizing container; supplying suitable flowing binder, such as thermosetting resin, into container so that it fills peripheral space, penetrates into gaps between tiles and covers tile pack; relieving vacuum to accomplish impregnation of pack with binder; providing self-hardening or forced hardening of binder to form block, with block surfaces corresponding to layer edges being covered with hermetically sealing coat of binder; effectuating multiple cutting of produced block along intermediate planes of some layers to manufacture at least one composite panel from portion between two successive cuts. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of laminated panels. 30 cl, 11 dwg
