FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: laser beam levelling instrument contains a self-leveling platform housing laser light sources, prisms for relaying the beam to a plane and a laser pendulum. It also contains a power supply and control system, a point of attachment to the tripod, wherein the laser pendulum's visual axis passes through its center. The laser light sources and the prisms for relaying the beam to a plane constitute at least one emitting module with a casing. The casing houses mechanisms of precise surface level positioning, an additional power supply and control system, an additional self-leveling platform for housing laser light sources and prisms for relaying the beam to a plane. The laser pendulum with a self-leveling platform, the power supply and control system and the point of attachment to the tripod constitute an attachment module with a casing. The casing of at least one emitting module and the attachment module casing have an option of connecting the emitting module with the attachment module and of connecting with at least one emitting module.
EFFECT: reduction of the efforts and costs and enhanced performance of the instrument.
