FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: inertial unit is located on a motion simulator that comprises theoretical modeling of the inertial unit located on a motion simulator. Simulation modeling comprises the inertial unit modeling in real navigation circumstances, wherein control commands are sent to the simulation modeling input and simulated inertial information is obtained as a result of simulation modeling performance, the inertial information being the data outcoming the inertial unit in the preset or real navigation circumstances. The control commands are shaped in terms of the measured inertial information, simulation inertial information and theoretical inertial information. The validity of the inertial unit operation is verified by comparing the path of a mobile object with the reference path.
